The 12,000 ASA members perform mechanical, auto body, and transmission repairs and can be identified by its red, white, and blue ASA sign. The organization's purpose is to promote the best interests of the trade, increase its facilities for commercial transactions, and at the same time, offer better service to the public. Also, ASA strives to advance the professionalism and excellence in the automotive repair industry through education, representation and member services. The forefathers of ASA had a vision of uniting independant automotive repair and service facilities like our transmission repair shop into a nation wide trade association, and that goal continues to this day.
Maine ASP
The Automotive Service Professionals of Maine was formed and incorporated in 1999. The purpose of the organization is to establish a means to support, promote, and stimulate the interests of Automotive Service Professionals in the State of Maine.
